Four Step Approach

  1. Define Objectives and Specifications
  2. Identify, Interview and Assess Candidates
  3. Client Interviews
  4. Final Interviews

Resumes

Peachtree Executive Search does not prepare resumes for candidates.

Resumes are the responsibility of the candidates.

Resumes prepared by the candidates reflect their level of interest and offer an insight into the candidate's abilities, and afford them an opportunity to demonstrate their presentation skills.

The accuracy of resumes is the responsibility of the individual candidates.

Resumer tailored to meet the needs of client companies frequently fail to accurately and completely reflect an individual candidate's breadth of experiences, choosing instead to emphasize selected areas of expertise.

Interview Summaries

When finalists are interviewed, summary information will be presented in a manner to allow easy comparison between candidates. The same questions are asked of all finalists, which allows clients to compare "apples to apples."

Analysis

When appropriate, we present relevant analysis of pertinent employment criteria including: salaries, years of experience, education, compensation packages, all of which assist the client company in their hiring effort. Such information is provided as a component of the search process.

Timeline

The goal is to accomplish a search in 60 days or less. In reality, many searches take 90 days or more. The timeline is shortened when a candidate is selected early in the process.

Fees

The industry norm and the major search firms typically charge a fee of 331/3% for searches, plus expenses and overhead of the office. Please note that there are few search firms that have the low overhead of Peachtree Executive Search. In fact, most firms have exceptionally nice addresses. The 33.3 fee is based on the first year’s compensation. If the candidate is hired at a higher salary than originally planned on, the major search firm will send an additional invoice to cover the increased salary so that it appears that the firm has a vested interest in driving up the salary. Peachtree Executive Search, on the other hand, does the project for a fixed fee, agreed upon up front, plus expenses, with a very modest office charge to cover phones and other communications. Peachtree’s fees generally come out to be 28% of the first year’s salary.
